3 DAY CARVING FESTIVAL

Time is running out to register for the CANADA DAY WEEKEND CARVING FESTIVAL to be held at the Devonian Botanic Gardens. Check out their website for details and registration as this is bound to be an event you do not want to miss. Meet with other soapstone carvers and enjoy three full days of carving, socializing, instruction and sharing of techniques and applications. Bring your own soapstone or purchase some there as will be lots available. No reason not to attend and complete your own piece of sculpture. This will be my last event in the Edmonton area if we are successful in selling our acreage and moving to the Okanagan. Look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones too.

DAFFODIL GALLERY representing Allan Waidman

Good news, the unique DAFFODIL ART GALLERY on 124 street and 104 ave in EDMONTON is the newest gallery to represent my sculptures. Look at their website www.daffodilgallery.ca/ or stop in a view some of my lastest designs, first made available to the public at this gallery. Karen and Rick were impressed with the unique bears and have them on display right now. Look for even more new pieces to make their first appearance at the Daffodil Gallery. Proud to be a part of this gallery and looking forward to lots of good things happening here.
